Are you ready for a new career?
Becoming a confident Pilates Matwork teacher isn’t something that happens in a weekend or through a few online videos. It takes time in the studio. Time to practise, observe, ask questions, and truly understand the work.
That’s why my Matwork Teacher Training includes nine full days of face-to-face learning.
When we work together in the studio, the learning goes deeper. You can feel the exercises in your own body, practise teaching in real time, and receive immediate feedback that helps refine your observation, cueing, and decision-making skills.
Working alongside other teachers is also an essential part of the process. Everyone arrives with different backgrounds and experiences, and that shared learning environment helps develop your confidence far more quickly than studying alone.
This training focuses on how to teach, not just how to perform the exercises. We spend time exploring movement, understanding the principles behind the work, and learning how to adapt exercises so you can teach real people with real bodies.
What this course prioritises
9 face-to-face training days for hands-on learning
Time to observe, be observed, and receive feedback
Understanding movement rather than memorising sequences
Learning how to teach, not just how to exercise
Space to practise, reflect, and develop your teaching voice
Alongside the in-person training you’ll also receive:
12 live online support webinars
Access to the Julie Driver Pilates video library
By the end of the training, you’ll know how to:
Observe movement clearly
Make confident and effective corrections
Adapt exercises for different clients and abilities
There are, of course, courses available at a lower price point, often with fewer tutor contact hours. My focus with this programme is different.
This course includes extensive face-to-face teaching time, ensuring you graduate not only qualified, but confident, competent and able to teach Pilates knowledgeably.
The aim is to support you in developing the depth of understanding and practical teaching skills that will help you stand out in an increasingly competitive industry.
Most importantly, I want you to leave the course feeling confident in your teaching, your understanding of the work, and your ability to build your Pilates business.
If you have any questions about the course, or would like to discuss whether it would be the right fit for you, please do feel free to get in touch.
