Why I created this course: Pilates for Equestrians
Pilates is a great way for riders to train our bodies, minds and movements in preparation for riding.
Pilates gives you the missing pieces. My aim is to give you the critical thinking skills to put the pieces together. To move intelligently and with purpose so that you can feel where you need to adapt, improve and create change.
I created this course to give you more than classes, each module comes with tutorials to break down the exercises so you can then build them up at your own pace to truly understand why you are doing the movements.
Pilates can help you understand how your body works in the saddle, where you compensate, and how small changes in alignment, balance, and coordination can create immediate improvements in your riding.
I created this course for riders who want to sit more securely, move more freely, and communicate more clearly with their horse, without forcing, gripping, or overthinking their position.
